Check out the Mexico pollution link. Thanks to R. Watson, for the link to this article. Information is provided regarding pollution policies between the U.S., Canada and Mexico. Pay particular attention to the issues regarding the U. S. sending hazardous waste to Mexico. It seems very much like the "planet" in the fantasy voyage sending waste to poorer areas.

First Collaborative Project

In the next few weeks we will be completing a collaborative project that focuses on "global warming" but from one of four perspectives:

1. Historical Roots of our Environmental Crisis
2. Deep Ecology
3. Eco Zombies
4. Freegans

I have been reviewing the initial collaborative research that is being done by groups and the work is excellent. I hope you enjoy both the topic and the "online google" collaboration environment.

Remember , on Sept. 16 we do not meet face to face but are working via the web. When we are in small group again on Sept. 23 we will hear from each group regarding their progress, talk about the types of strategies that groups might use to share their project information, and work in our teams.
